Group Purchases FT897D & ATU |

Following agreement at the 2007 AGM the group has now purchased a Yaesu FT897D multimode HF/VHF/UHF transceiver and ATU. This will give more flexibility in VHF/UHF operations and provide a good portable HF unit. |

Following agreement at the 2007 AGM the group has recently purchased a 26ft portable aluminum mast for use at events requiring an antenna to be erected. We had previously relied upon a loaned swaged 20ft mast that could be tricky to handle. The mast was purchased from Moonraker at the recent Cambridge and District Amateur Radio Club Rally. |
