Thank you to all the Raynet members that turned out to help provide safety radio cover at the Wissey Half Marathon. A different St John unit provided the cover this year but all worked out well with very few incidents to deal with. We establised a good 2m control net from one of the higher points on 145.200 using 10W. |

Thank you to all members of Raynet that were able to help at this event. There were various changes this year to the format of the show and we had to respond dynamically to these.Forest Heath Raynet kindly bought their Control Unit to the event and using this as a base a good 2m net was run to the handheld operation on 145.200. Ambulances changed over to use network repeater GB3KY when required to go off site. |

Thanks to all members that attended at this rather hectic evening event. Our user service St John was kept busy with a couple of incidents to respond to. There was good joint working with Rover Rescue with Raynet helping cover a couple of the vehicles. We established a reasonable 2m mobile net with some slight comms problems in the wooded areas. |
