A busy day for the group covering two events - Samaritan Cycle Ride and Sandringham Charity Horse Ride. Both events were run from the groups newly acquired control caravan which proved most beneficial in the showery conditions. The cycle ride passed without incident and generally apart from the normal issues in the Sedgeford area was well covered RF wise. The horse ride was busier than usual and several issues required attention. Thankfully the team sprang into action and dealt with it all in the required manner. Thank you to all the members that were able to assist. |

A big thank you to all the members that turned out to help provide safety communications at this prestigious 10km road race. Raynet members were on duty from 08:00 to 12:30 covering some of the outer points on the course and providing a valuable linking role in the multi-agency control room.  Raynet Control for GEAR 09 Once again it shows Raynet providing a professional and valuable communication capability for larger public events and various differing user services.
